BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Time is running out to give your input on the future of several recreational spots around Bellingham.
The city is asking for public feedback on its long-term plan for the Civic Athletic Complex. The plan involves the potential for relocating the Carl Cozier Elementary building within the complex and adding an indoor community center.
The city has presented four options for how the athletic complex could be designed that residents can give feedback on through Friday, Nov. 22.
Community members are also being encouraged to help plan the future of the playgrounds at Bloedel Donovan and Rock Hill Parks.
Both of their existing playgrounds were built in 1999, and the city says it’s time for safety and accessibility upgrades.
People can give their thoughts on what equipment both parks should get by this Monday’s deadline.
You can find a link to all the surveys at engagebellingham.org.
