BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Whatcom County based urologist Dr. Kelly Casperson is headed to the Mount Baker Theatre for a screening of her new film “The M Factor 2.0.”

Dr. Casperson tells My Bellingham Now that the film focuses on perimenopause, the years leading up to menopause and when women start to experience common symptoms but are told nothing is wrong.

According to Casperson, the lack of education around menopause and perimenopause has led to a confusion for patients and gaps in medical care.

This new film is intended to start these conversations earlier, encourage education and help women better understand what is happening to their bodies.
