FERNDALE, WA – (MyBellinghamNow.com) T-Mobile is awarding $10,000 to the Ferndale Food Bank for their contribution to the local community.
In total, five Washington and Hawaii non-profits received an equal portion of $50,000 as part of the company’s quarterly Difference Maker Awards. T-Mobile employees nominated some their local organizations for these awards that launched last year. The campaign started in order to recognize top-ranked business performance areas where T-Mobile serves.
Ferndale Food Bank was selected for their efforts serving a community relying on them now more than ever in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Co-Director of the food bank Sierra Cook said in a statement the funds will go directly to providing community access to food.
The other two Washington organizations also receiving the funds are Generating Hope and Habitat for Humanity Seattle – King & Kittitas Counties (SKKC). Maui Food Bank and Maui Strong round out the total recipients.
