BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man who smuggled drugs to inmates at the Whatcom County Jail has been sentenced.

Court documents state that 27-year-old Dylan Ramion will spend the next six months behind bars.

Ramion was working as a contractor in the jail’s kitchen when the contraband was discovered in April. Corrections deputies seized vapes, medication, and pills from several inmates.

Investigators learned that Ramion worked with the wife of an inmate to bring the contraband inside the facility.

He pled guilty to a controlled substance delivery charge and was sentenced on Tuesday, July 29.
