BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – There’s a great chance to get up to date on your vaccines coming up next week.

Whatcom County Health and Community Services is hosting a free vaccine clinic in Bellingham on Tuesday, August 5, for those who qualify.

The department is offering Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B shots for adults 19 years and older who don’t have medical insurance.

It will also provide a variety of routinely recommended childhood vaccines for people under 19 years old.

Tuesday’s vaccine clinic takes place from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 800 E. Chestnut St.

You can schedule an appointment online on the county’s website or walk in, but the health department can’t guarantee available slots and supplies for walk-ins.

My Bellingham Now previously reported new data that shows vaccination rates for students in Whatcom County fell slightly below the state’s average over the past school year.
