Gov. Jay Inslee announced on Friday, July 12 that he appointed Jennifer Slattery to fill a new, fifth seat created by the legislature earlier this year.
Slattery has practiced family law and general civil litigation for 15 years, including her own small firm called Kulshan Law Group that she has operated for the last seven years.
She has served as a pro tem commissioner for Whatcom Superior Court since 2023, where she presided over protection orders, juvenile detention, criminal arraignments and more.
