WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Temperatures are forecasted to continue to climb following the Fourth of July as the National Weather Service issues a heat advisory for most of western Washington.

The heat advisory starts at noon on Friday, July 5.

Some parts of Whatcom County could see temperatures climb into the upper 80’s and low 90’s, especially on Sunday. The advisory is expected to remain in effect through the morning of Monday, July 8.

The National Weather Service is advising people to stay hydrated, check in on their neighbors and those at risk, and to never leave children or pets unattended inside of vehicles.
