WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Gusty winds are in the forecast for western Whatcom County.
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Seattle says the latest weather pattern will bring gusts of up to 35 mph in Bellingham on Friday night through Saturday morning. They’re anticipating winds will peak sometime on Friday night.
Additional rain is anticipated throughout the weekend, with snowfall expected in the Cascades.
NWS is not forecasting any river flooding issues for Whatcom or Skagit Counties.
