BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A fallen hiker was recently rescued near the North Cascades National Park.
Crews from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island were called after a hiker fell 100 feet down the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail on Saturday, June 15.
The hiker lost consciousness and suffered a leg injury. Search and Rescue crews found the hiker near Blizzard Peak and hoisted her into a helicopter.
She was flown to Peacehealth St Joseph’s Medical Center in Bellingham.
