BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A holiday Grinch in Bellingham has struck again at a local shopping center.

Barkley Village said in a social media post that someone cut the wires on its lighted tree display on the night of Saturday, Dec. 7. A person vandalized the same display by cutting the wires on Halloween night.

Barkley Village posted surveillance photos of the suspect on its Facebook page and says it appears to be the same person in both incidents. The suspect is seen wearing a red hooded jacket and a green shirt with dark pants in both images.

Bellingham Police spokesperson Megan Peters says the department also received a report of a woman cutting lights off trees at Barkley on Saturday night.

BPD is currently processing the police report and further action on the incident is expected.
