BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Hundreds of people in Bellingham gathered in protest to voice their anger at the current presidential administration.
Upwards of 300 people showed their frustrations with the Trump administration and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) outside the Federal Building on Monday, Feb. 17.
Information about the protest was passed around on social media and word-of-mouth in the couple days leading up to the event. The protest coincided with others occurring throughout the state including Mount Vernon, Olympia, Spokane and Seattle.

“This is testing the waters and seeing that people want to make their voices heard,” Hoffman said.
Posters for the protest affiliate the demonstration with the 50-50-1 movement, which pushed for protests in state capitols and Washington, D.C. on Feb. 5.
