BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A local Bellingham brewery is hosting an upcoming event to support a nonprofit that was recently impacted by a building fire.
Kulshan Brewing Company announced that this month’s Pour it Forward event will be in support of Bellingham’s own Ragfinery, who just one week ago suffered from a fire which caused internal and external damage to their building.
“Ragfinery is a cherished community textile diversion center, thrift shop and creative space that recently experienced a devastating fire,” Kulshan said in a recent post on Instagram.
The event will be held on Jan. 14 at Kulshan’s Sunnyland taproom. 10% of that day’s sales will go straight to Ragfinery to help keep their nonprofit operations going.
Kulshan also mentioned that Lisa Schessler, owner of Bea Hamster Sews, will be unique recycled malt bag tote bags at the event. Bags are $10 each and all proceeds go to Ragfinery as well.
