If wedding bells are in your future, this event is for you. Whatcom Wedding Showcase is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ferndale Events Center (5715 Barrett Rd.)

It is a one-stop shopping experience for couples, event planners and everyone else looking to dream the impossible dream. Attendees will have access to a bridal fashion show, live makeup and hair demos, vendor discounts, prizes and more.

The weather looks gorgeous this weekend and there is a great opportunity in Everson to take in the beauty of our region.

The 44th annual Honeywagon Runs will offer runners spectacular views of Sumas Mountain and western Whatcom County’s gorgeous farmland as they run along country roads in a 4 Mile Race or Half Marathon.

The races start and finish at Nooksack Valley Middle School (404 W Columbia St.) and the routes run along roads with will not be closed to traffic. So, participants will need to use caution.

We have two featured live shows for you in this week’s Lifestyle Lookout. They feature artists that explore very different aspects of American pop music.

Bellingham’s Veronica North will perform at Wild Buffalo on Friday, March 27 along with Tinsley. North blends poetic lyrics with indie-pop sensibilities what will have you feeling all the feelings.
