Bellingham Exit kicked off on Wednesday, Oct. 8 and continues through Sunday, Oct. 12. The five-day festival features live music, art, comedy and dance parties at venues across downtown Bellingham.
Headliners this year include Lucinda Williams, Demetri Martin, Joy Oladokun, Lucero and Amigo the Devil. Bellingham Exit is similar to festivals like SXSW and Treefort, with artists transforming venues into art installations for musicians, artists and attendees to intermingle.

Not to be outdone by the City of Subdued Excitement, Lynden is hosting a music festival of its own. The 2025 Lynden Music Festival opened on Tuesday, Oct. 7 and runs through Sunday.
Businesses along Front Street will host artists performing classical, polka, bluegrass and more. It all wraps up on Saturday with renowned 60s tribute band Sixtiesmania at the WECU Expo Building at the Fairgrounds.

Fans of oysters are in luck this weekend.
The 5th annual Blaine Oyster Fest is on Saturday. Centered around H Street Plaza and Drayton Harbor Oysters, the festival features oyster shucking competitions, chainsaw carving, live music, fun kids’ activities and, of course, a seagull imitation contest.
