WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Whatcom County will be blessed with gorgeous fall weather this weekend. It should be perfect for all the activities in this week’s Lifestyle Lookout.
It is time for Bellingham SeaFeast 2025. This free two-day festival at Squalicum Harbor honors our area’s maritime culture with a local seafood market, vendors, a salmon firepit, a beer and wine garden, and a VIP lounge experience.

You can also check out fishing vessels and do maritime activities at the Sawtooth Dock, check out some art, let your kids do some boat building, and watch as experts crank out chainsaw carvings.
Bellingham SeaFeast runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 27 and Sunday, Sep. 28.
A little farther inland, one of Bellingham’s most iconic neighborhoods is throwing a party.
Sunnyland Fest runs Friday, Sep. 26 through Sunday at five local breweries. El Sueñito, Stemma West, Wander, Otherlands Beer and Kulshan Sunnyland will all release special beers for the occasion.
Grab yourself a punch card and taste beer, eat delicious food and enter a raffle to win swag and gift cards.
For all the details, go to Sunnyland Fest’s Facebook page.
It’s your last weekend to check out Reflections of the Land: Himalayan Paintings and Cascadian Basketry at It’s About Time Cultural Arts Center (2013 Main Street) in Ferndale. The exhibit highlights traditional and contemporary work by Nepalese artists along with baskets woven by Coast Salish artists.
The gallery is open Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For all the details about his show and more, follow It’s About Time Cultural Arts Center on Instagram.
While you’re in Ferndale, check out one of Whatcom County’s newest Indian restaurants. Haan Tandoor and Bar (2034 Main Street) offers delicious Indian food, great drinks, friendly service and a comfortable setting right in heart of downtown.
