WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – As March continues to unfold here in Whatcom County, community events of all kinds are happening as the weather warms up and winter goes away.
Since Friday, March 7 is the first Friday of March, the monthly routine of First Fridays in downtown Bellingham is on. Every First Friday, the Whatcom Museum opens its doors on Flora Street for anyone to experience their exhibits for free. The museum has extended their hours for this as well, staying open until 9 p.m.

If you find yourself in Blaine on Saturday, you may want to head out and take part in the Second Saturday Downtown Art Walk. This art walk is hosted by the Blaine Arts Council and features eight different businesses in the area.
