WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – We are expecting very pleasant weather in Whatcom County this weekend with variable conditions and temperatures near 70 degrees. Perfect baseball weather.
The Wenatchee AppleSox are coming to town to take on the Bellingham Bells in a three-game series at Joe Martin Field. That’s good news for the Bells because they currently sit two games behind Wenatchee for first place in the West Coast League’s North Division. Watch Jason Shedlock, Colton Bower, Jose Mejia and the rest of the boys try to knock it out of the park.

The game on Friday, June 28 starts at 5:35 p.m. and is followed by a special performance by Petty or Not, Bellingham’s own Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac tribute band. Music starts 30 minutes after the end of the game, and admission is free for the post-game show with your ticket for the game.
Saturday’s game begins at 6:35 p.m. with Sunday’s starting at 1:35 p.m.
There’s nothing better than a day at the ballpark, right? Bells tickets are just $12 at bellstickets.com.
While you’re in Bellingham, why not stop by a great brewery? Otherlands Beer is celebrating their 4th anniversary this weekend. They’ll have a special Fest Bier for the occasion, delicious food specials, live music from a local jazz group plus a special paper mâché sunset sacrifice. It’ll be so much fun they’re calling it the “Otherlands 4-Year Anniversary Bonanza.”
Otherlands is also pouring their Beer of Choice, an American pilsner. All sales from that beer will go to The Brigid Alliance, an organization that provides support for women seeking abortion services.
Otherlands 4-Year Anniversary Bonanza runs Friday and Saturday until 9 p.m. Otherlands is located on Humboldt Street in Bellingham’s Sunnyland neighborhood. Go to otherlandsbeer.com for all the details.
