BELLINGHAM, WA – (MyBellinghamNow.com) Were you affected by any flooding we saw last month?

The Whatcom Long Term Recovery Group is seeking public input on any losses suffered during the recent flood event.

The Nooksack River rose just above minor flood stage in Ferndale on Jan. 29 and closed several roads in north Whatcom County. The recovery group created an online survey to collect details about any damage to residents’ homes.

Responses will help the group better assess the public’s needs and allow for it to allocate resources to support them more efficiently.

The group notes that filling out the form does not guarantee any assistance.
