LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A local club in Lynden is organizing a toy drive to help struggling families this holiday season.

The Lynden Breakfast Kiwanis Club have partnered with local businesses to hold the Toy Drive, with all donations going to Lynden School District’s Family Community Services.

The drive will run from Friday, Nov. 29 to Saturday, Dec. 7 with large, gift-wrapped boxes being displayed at participating business where anyone can leave donated gifts.

All donations will go directly to children in the Lynden school district. The club asks that gifts should be left unwrapped and appropriate for ages 5 to 15.

11 businesses across Lynden will have donation boxes set up, including Lynden’s Ace Hardware and True Value as well as Lynden’s Heritage Museum and Chamber of Commerce.
