BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A local nonprofit is seeking nominations for community members who increase equity in the arts.

The Make.Shift Art Space is now accepting applications for their Art for All Ages Award until Dec. 1.

The Award for All Ages is focused towards recognizing local people that work to increase accessibility to the arts for people of all ages.

Previous recipient for the award Mo Green said that the award helped her feel like her work mattered in the community and kept her moving forward. Green owns Mo’s Parlor, which specializes in locally made beauty products and creating cosplay costumes.

The recipient of this year’s award will be announced at Make.Shift’s All Ages Gala on Jan. 25, 2025.
