BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Four people were hospitalized and a man was arrested following a crash on Chuckanut Drive.

Washington State Patrol (WSP) says that two cars were heading in opposite directions on SR 11 the evening of Sept. 14 near Soundview Dr. The car heading south lost control and hit the northbound vehicle.

All four people in the second car, including two children, were taken to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center. Neither the driver nor the passenger of the southbound car was hurt.

Troopers later arrested the southbound car’s driver, 20-year-old Nathan Singh of Yakima, on a vehicular assault charge.

WSP says drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash.
