OLYMPIA, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A nationwide recall of meat and poultry products potentially contaminated with listeria includes several retailers in Washington.

The recall was originally issued earlier this month but has since expanded to nearly 12 million pounds of products that were produced by BrucePac from June 19 to Oct. 8, 2024.

Federal officials say it now includes ready-to-eat meals sent to U.S. schools, restaurants and major retailers.

The Washington State Department of Health says those retailers in Washington include Target, Costco, Fred Meyer, Trader Joe’s and 7-Eleven. The department also says there have not been any reports of illness due to the recalled products yet.

State health officials are still urging residents to check to see if they have any recalled products. Those products will have the establishment numbers “51205 or P-51205” inside or under the USDA mark of inspection.
