WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Mount Baker is in for another big snow dump this week.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit counties through 4 a.m. on Friday.
The mountains are expected to get up to a foot of snow, with wind gusts up to 35 mph.
Forecasters warn that snow-covered roads may make travel very difficult.
The Mount Baker Ski Area says this could be a bluebird weekend, with the mountain seeing its best snow of the winter and sunny skies in the forecast.
