BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Some Bellingham residents may have noticed loud noises and shaking, but it was no earthquake.

Port of Bellingham spokesperson Mike Hogan says six EA-18G Growler jets were redirected to Bellingham International Airport on Wednesday due to heavy fog on Whidbey Island.

The Growlers stayed in Bellingham overnight before leaving on Thursday.
