BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bellingham International Airport will be flying travelers out to a new city in the new year.

The Port of Bellingham teased its newest destination in a series of cropped photos on social media earlier today.

Beginning in March 2026, Alaska Airlines will begin round-trip services from Bellingham to Portland.

One non-stop, hour-long flight will depart Bellingham around 8:15 a.m. starting on March 19, with a return flight scheduled for 9:45 p.m.

This marks Alaska’s second destination out of Bellingham following Seattle.
