SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Skagit County is adding a judge to their roster.
Gov. Bob Ferguson says that he’s appointed Haley Wolcott Sebens to fill a new seat allotted to their superior court bench.
Sebens has worked as a court commissioner for Skagit County since January 2025. She also has prior experience working at the Skagit County Prosecutor’s Office for over a decade.
My Bellingham Now previously reported on a law signed by the governor earlier this year expanding Skagit County’s court to five judges.
It marks the first expansion of their bench since 2006.
Sebens’ appointment will be effective as of January 1.
