BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets over the weekend to join the nationwide “No Kings” rally.

In the northwest corner of Washington state, plenty of protesters joined in on the day of demonstration with residents of Bellingham, Anacortes and Burlington waving signs and sharing their thoughts.

Supporters of the rally wrote birthday cards to send to the White House, as June 14 was President Trump’s birthday. Bellingham Mayor Kim Lund told grassroots organization Bellingham’s Troublemakers that she would assist in making sure the cards made their way to the White House.
