LYNDEN, WA. – (MyBellinghamNow.com) Nominations are open for a new award that honors teachers in Whatcom County.

The Brown & Brown Excellence in Education Award Program will honor multiple public school teachers, with the winner taking home $5,000.

Strong nominations should include specific examples of work inspired by the teacher.

Nominations close on March 31st and finalists will be named in the spring, followed by the announcement of the winner.
