WWU Vikings News

The transfer portal has taken over college sports, and Western Washington University is no exception. According to portal tracker Verbal Commits, three players from the Vikings men’s basketball team have entered the portal. The same thing happened last year when three key starters transferred following the season. The Viks will look to retool after finishing the season with a 19-10 record and falling in the quarterfinals of the GNAC tournament. But their future looks bright with a pair of local standouts in Sehome’s Grant Keppley and Lynden’s Anthony Canales looking to lead the team next season.
