Mariners News
The Mariners are looking to rebound tonight following a lopsided loss yesterday.
The M’s fell to the Blue Jays 13-4 in Game 3 of the ALCS last night and loosened their grip to a 2-1 series lead.
Julio Rodriguez hit a 2-run homer in the first inning to give Seattle an early lead, but Toronto hammered George Kirby for eight runs over the next four innings. The Blue Jay finished with five home runs, including the fourth of the postseason for Vlad Guerrero Jr., who went 4-4 at the plate.
Cal Raleigh hit his third postseason homer and Randy Arozarena tacked on another in the eighth inning, but it was too little too late as the M’s dropped their first home game of the series.
Notably, Mariners ace Bryan Woo made a visit to the bullpen during the game. M’s skipper Dan Wilson says he wanted him to get “acclimated” in case he makes a relief appearance later in the series.
Woo hasn’t pitched since suffering a pectoral strain on Sept. 19.
Meanwhile, Luis Castillo is taking the mound against 3x Cy Young award winning Max Scherzer for tonight’s monumental Game 4 at T-Mobile Park. Coverage begins at 4:30 and first pitch is at 5:33 on KPUG.
Over in the National League, the Brewers and Dodgers are in LA for Game 3 of their series, where the Dodgers will look to take a commanding 3-0 lead. First pitch for their game is at 3:08.
Kraken News

Seattle’s coming off a tight loss where they fell to the Montreal Canadiens 5-4 in overtime. They’ll have a chance to recover against a Senators team that has lost its last three straight, falling in each of them by at least three goals.
Coverage begins at 3:30 and puck drops at 4:00 on KGMI.
