Naylor told the Seattle Times last week that he planned to fly to Arizona to be with his wife, who’s been expecting their first child. He was away from the team during their off-day yesterday, but is in the lineup for today’s game.

Mariners manager Dan Wilson declined to give any specifics on the situation and Naylor won’t be able to comment on it until after today’s game.

First pitch for Game 4 in Detroit tomorrow is at 12:08 pm on KPUG, but could be pushed back several hours depending on the outcome of tonight’s Blue Jays-Yankees game.
