LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A trio of hip-hop legends are coming together for a special night at the Northwest Washington Fair this summer.

Chingy, Ginuwine and The Ying Yang Twins will all perform at the fair’s Hip-Hop Throwback Night on Friday, Aug. 15. All three artists have been active in the R&B, hip-hop and rap scenes since the mid 90’s and early 2000’s.

St. Louis-based Chingy has been nominated for a Grammy and has had eight hits make the Billboard Hot 100 List. Ginuwine, born and raised near Washington, D.C., is best known for his hit single “Pony.”

The Ying-Yang Twins rose from humble beginnings in Atlanta to superstardom following their collaboration with Lil Jon in the early 2000s.

The Northwest Washington Fair will announce three more musical acts for this year’s mainstage, but an exact timeframe is not known. The fair is also currently working on booking local entertainment which will also be announced at a later time.

Tickets for the Hip-Hop Throwback Night go on sale Friday, Jan. 14 at 9 a.m. at the Northwest Washington Fair website.
