FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – If you are looking for something festive to do this weekend, you are in luck.

The Ferndale Heritage Society is hosting the Olde Fashioned Christmas in Pioneer Village.

The village will be decorated with over 90,000 lights and costumed volunteers will welcome visitors into the iconic log cabins.  Revelers can stroll along the ADA compliant pathway and take it all in before heading to the Pioneer Pavilion for a visit with Santa Claus.  They can also check out crafts for kids and enjoy refreshments provided by WECU.

The Olde Fashioned Christmas runs this Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday, Dec. 6 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children.

The Heritage Society will leave all the lights up for the Lighted Christmas Stroll the following two weekends.

Admission is free and the Lighted Stroll will be open Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Besides taking in all the lights, kids of all ages can search for “Special Candy Canes” and earn a prize at the end of the stroll.

Pioneer Village is located at 2000 Cherry Street in Ferndale.
