FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A roundabout replacement project in Ferndale could cause some delays starting next week.

WSDOT crews will begin single-lane closures at both of the Exit 260 off ramps on Monday, July 29 at 8 p.m. Crews will be working to replace the roundabout connecting Slater Road and Rural Avenue to I-5 with a larger, two-lane roundabout.

The current roundabout was built in 2014.

Single-lane closures will occur nightly between Monday and Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Additional closures for the southbound ramps are scheduled for mid-September.
