CONCRETE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Authorities are searching for a person of interest in connection to a fatal fire in Skagit County.

Three victims were recovered after the two-story home was destroyed in a fire on the morning of Aug. 9 in Concrete.

The Mount Vernon Police Department now says investigators believe there was a fourth person at the residence in the time leading up to the fire.

They connected the man, identified as 49-year-old Jason M. Birman, to his blue 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck that they’ve been trying to locate.

Investigators say Birman is known to frequent both Skagit and Whatcom counties and is an avid four-wheeler.
