BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Western Washington University celebrated hundreds of graduates on a warm Friday afternoon in June as students of the class of 2024 received their diplomas.
The first of eight ceremonies this weekend honored graduates from the College of Science & Engineering and the College of Humanities & Social Sciences.
The state college has handed over 140,000 graduates diplomas for both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. In the 2023 – 2024 academic year, WWU will hand out over 1,000 diplomas.
Families, friends and alumni traveled from around the world to celebrate this year’s class, creating a loud and supportive environment in Carver Gym.
