BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Amid the nationwide trend of Tesla vandalism, an incident in the city’s typically subdued manner has been reported in Bellingham.
Bellingham Police Lt. Claudia Murphy says a man complained that his Tesla was targeted while it was parked near a hospital clinic on Cordata Parkway on Monday night.
Officers found two stickers shaped like eyes on the vehicle, which is fully wrapped in a custom design. It’s unclear if removing the stickers will cause any damage to the wrap.
The incident comes amid an uptick in nationwide Tesla vandalism tied to CEO Elon Musk’s role in recent cuts to federal jobs and spending.
