LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A public meeting has been scheduled to discuss future border crossing projects.

The US General Services Administration will host a discussion on the environmental impact of two border crossing improvement projects.

Both land crossings in Sumas and Lynden are in need of upgrades to accommodate an increase in travel demand.

The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at American Legion Post 212 in Sumas.

Comments are being accepted ahead of time or during the meeting itself. Additional public comment will be accepted through Sept. 23.
