Raymond H. Cadman, born on April 19th, 1934, to Wilbur and Irene Cadman in Walsenburg CO, peacefully departed this life in Bellingham WA on February 9th, 2024.
In 1961, he married his beloved wife, JoAnne. Together, they shared 38 years of cherished companionship and were blessed with three children, Ken, Kim, and Jodi. Raymond dedicated 33 years of his professional life to Intalco, serving as a dedicated foreman until his well-deserved retirement in 1996.
Raymond’s vibrant spirit endeared him to countless people. Outgoing, amiable, he embraced life with unwavering enthusiasm. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in 4-wheeling, boating, and the open road, especially behind the wheel of his beloved white truck. His magnetic personality effortlessly forged bonds with all who crossed his path.
His family held a special place in Raymond’s heart, and he treasured every moment spent with them. His laughter resonated with warmth, and his hugs were unparalleled in their embrace. Road trips to reunite with loved ones, crabbing adventures, and leisurely days on the water epitomized his zest for life.
Raymond leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his son Ken Cadman (Sheryl), daughter Kim Hanson (Chris), grandchildren Brandon Cadman (Holli), Ashley Dixon (Ben) and Brittny Ohnemus, great grandchildren Kadynce, Kylan, Kinsley, Harper, Jace, and Sam, Evie and Everett, his sister Linda Earl (Bob), brothers Willis Cadman, Ron Cadman, and Don Cadman, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife JoAnne Cadman, daughter Jodi Chalfant, grandson Ryan Cadman, his parents Wilbur and Irene Cadman, and sister Frances Cadman.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the kind and caring staff at St. Francis who cared for Raymond like he was family.
There will be a memorial service for Raymond on Sunday, March 24th from 1-4 at the Bloedel Donovan Park Building in Bellingham, WA.
