BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A petition targeting price-fixing software is heading to the ballot for Bellingham residents.
The Whatcom County Auditor’s Office finished reviewing signatures for Initiative 26-01 and issued a Certificate of Sufficiency last Thursday, July 2.
That means enough verifiable signatures were submitted to place the measure on the November ballot in Bellingham.
If passed by voters, Initiative 26-01 would ban landlords and rental owners from using paid software to analyze and suggest ideal rental prices for their area.
No other initiatives were submitted in Whatcom County for the election, which will be held on November 3.
