WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Local rescue teams are searching the North Cascades for a missing Canadian hiker.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office said 34-year-old Gursimran Singh (or Randhawa) was expected back in British Columbia four days ago.

His last known location was the South Twin, 10 miles southwest of Mount Baker.

The Sheriff’s Office said rescue teams found his car on the Middle Fork Road.

Anyone who has seen Singh or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
