BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Keep your eye out for runners on the roads throughout Bellingham on Saturday.

The morning kicks off with the 30th Running of the Chuckanut 50K.

The course starts and ends at Fairhaven Park, with an early start at 7 a.m. and a general start at 8 a.m. Most of the race is offroad, but runners will cross a few roads and intersections on their way to the Interurban Trail in south Bellingham. Find a map of the course here.

There will also be a post-race party at Wander Brewing to celebrate the race’s completion.

And don’t be surprised if you see a massive wave of green downtown.

This year’s Runnin’ O’ the Green takes place at 10 a.m., beginning on the corner of West Laurel and Cornwall Avenue. Participants will take part in either a 5K or 10K down Boulevard and South State Street while running in their favorite festive outfit for St. Patrick’s Day.

The race is sold out, but viewers can watch the finish on the 1000 block of Railroad Avenue. Find a map of both courses here.
