LYNDEN, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A student club at Lynden High School just got a generous donation following a theft last fall.
Lynden Future Farmers of America (FFA) says it’s received a brand-new tractor courtesy of Scholten’s Equipment and Kubota.
My Bellingham Now previously reported that a tractor was stolen from the group’s corn maze just off Hannegan Road in September 2024. The 1997 John Deere 870 still hasn’t been found.
The new tractor features a GPS locator and the ability to turn off the engine remotely.
“We do not have the words to say how it feels to have such amazing support from our Lynden and Whatcom County communities,” said Lynden FFA Advisor Julie Milstead. “It means so much to see so much positive support for our FFA kids and programs.”
Lynden FFA thanked both Scholten’s Equipment and Kubota for their support.
