BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man who purchased drugs that ultimately killed his girlfriend in Bellingham has been sentenced.

24-year-old Jayhaire Wilson pled guilty and was sentenced on Monday, July 8 to two years in prison, followed by another year of probation.

Wilson’s girlfriend, Sana Keller, was found dead inside a home on Taylor Avenue in October 2022. An autopsy determined that she died from a fentanyl overdose.

Wilson, who is from Seattle, admitted to detectives that he and Keller purchased the drugs at a gas station in Snohomish County. Wilson initially faced a controlled substance homicide charge and two counts of delivering a controlled substance.

As part of a plea deal, Wilson pled guilty to one delivery charge with a domestic violence modification.
