BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A second person has entered a guilty plea in connection to a fatal gang-related shooting in Bellingham.

Court documents state that 21-year-old Alan Ramos pled guilty to second degree manslaughter and third-degree assault last Thursday (May 28).

Ramos shot at a car waiting at a light on the Guide last October, killing 26-year-old Daytin Duronso-Harp and injuring a 25-year-old man. He and a second suspect, 19-year-old Royelio Marquez, ran from the scene and hid the gun under the steps of a nearby church.

They returned to the church and retrieved the gun hours after law enforcement cleared the area.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that Marquez was sentenced to seven months in jail after pleading guilty to rendering criminal assistance.

Sentencing for Ramos is set for July 9.
