WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Severe weather shelters across the county are preparing to open as temperatures are forecast to drastically drop.
Whatcom County Health and Community Services says their N. Forest Street shelter will be open for guests from Sunday, Feb. 2 through Thursday, Feb. 6.
Check-in is from 4 to 9 p.m. and everyone must check out by 9 a.m. the following morning.
Ferndale’s severe weather shelter on Washington Street has announced they’ll be open the nights of Feb. 1 and 2.
