Sheriff’s Office searching for missing 18-year-old from Bellingham

Anyone with information on Matthew Sanders' location is asked to call 911.

BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Search and rescue crews have been deployed to help locate a missing Bellingham teen.

The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office says that 18-year-old Matthew Sanders was last seen leaving a home in south Bellingham on Thursday, Oct. 3.

His family reported him missing on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Search and rescue crews, including drones and K-9s, have been searching for Sanders ever since.

He was last seen wearing a gray rain jacket, blue cargo pants, and brown snow boots.

Anyone with information on Sanders’ location is asked to call 911.
