BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bellingham’s annual “Sippin’ on Cider” festival is back for another day of local cider tastings and fall celebrations.
The event will benefit Shifting Gears, a Bellingham nonprofit dedicated to empowering women through outdoor recreation and education, and will be held at Lost Giant’s Cider Company on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 2-7 p.m.
This year’s lineup will feature more Pacific Northwest cideries than ever before and attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a six-pack of their favorite ciders. Lost Giants Cider Company will also offer non-alcoholic beverages.
“Our events are imperative to ensuring Shifting Gears is able to continue providing programs to our community, and it was incredible to see the support of ‘Sippin’ on Cider’ last year,” Shifting Gears board member Mackenzie Lynch said. “This year, we’re going even bigger.”
While sampling ciders, attendees can enjoy live local music, a selection of Bellingham food trucks and lawn games. There will also be a raffle, photo booth and caricature artist. The event is 21+, but leashed dogs are welcome.
