BURLINGTON, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Financial assistance for December flood victims will be available for Skagit County residents.

The county’s Dept. of Emergency Management will be hosting its final disaster assistance center on Saturday, June 6 at two locations.

Staff from several agencies will be available to help people fill out financial aid forms from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Burlington Parks and Rec Office, as well as the Hamilton Town Hall.

Those agencies include FEMA, the Small Business Administration and the Washington Dept. of Emergency Management.

This comes as several assistance locations will be open this weekend in Skagit and Whatcom counties as the deadline to apply approaches. Applications for federal assistance are due by June 10.
