BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A local brewery has stepped in to buy the former Twin Sisters Brewing Company property in Bellingham.
Stemma Brewing will expand in 2025 into the Sunnyland space as a second location and for larger distribution space. The company plans to open the brew hall as soon as possible.
Owner Jason Harper made the announcement on Monday night at the 2025 Stemma Beer Club.

“Our first priority is going to get that brew house going and brewing,” he said at the club meeting. “It’s ready to go so it won’t be too hard there. And then we’re going to remodel that taproom space and get that reopened.” Harper hopes to open the taproom in one to two months.
Harper says the space won’t be the same as Twin Sisters was, adding that he doesn’t want to run a restaurant. They’re open to options like food trucks or a third-party vendor taking over the large kitchen at the Carolina Street location.
The Stemma team will be conducting remodel in phases over the span of 2025.
